2015 WSOM Main Event Broadcast on Sky Link TV in U.S.A.

14 JUNE 2016, HONG KONG – World Mahjong Limited, owners and operators of the World Series of Mahjong signed an agreement with Sky Link TV, the first 24/7 Chinese satellite TV station in the United States. Sky Link broadcast two episodes of 50-minute programs produced by WSOM that feature the 2015 WSOM Championship Main Event held on December 5 and 6 in Macau at The Venetian Macao Resort. The program was broadcast on May 29th on the company’s broadband cable and IPTV platforms to their audience in the Los Angeles area.

Sky Link TV was founded in Los Angeles by the Taiwanese American Financial Group in 1989.

Sky Link TV provides the community with the best family oriented Asian programming from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Korea in the languages of Cantonese and Mandarin.   It has later become one of the most popular Chinese television stations in Southern California.

WSOM features the best mahjong players from around the world, all competing for cash prizes in an exhilarating tournament held in Asia’s entertainment capital.
